The New Roar of Revolution

editorial

Sure, there were those days when ABS-CBN 2 and GMA 7 used to be the authorities on anime. Even the now-defunct ABC 5.

TV 5 towers over others - at least in anime

Then, in-ere naman nila ang Special A at Azumanga Daioh.

All these in like…oh yeah(!) almost a year.

It’s just that the past years were times na ang hina-hina ng anime industry dito.

Sure lumabas ang One Piece, Bleach, Naruto at Gundam Seed in between now and the time of “anime revolution” in this country. Pero pagkatapos nun, ano bang nangyari? Wala.

Ang Koreanovela nadagdagan. And Manga-serye dumating.

I don’t think any other channel have done something this big for local otakus.

They have teamed up with Cosplay.ph to launch a cosplay video-making contest. For infos on this, check the site here.

Onegai shimasu!

P-chan: Forget that bast*** Ranma and bring the show back.

Who is Pepesan?

20 something year-old otaku from the Philippines. I love making up articles around the topic of anime and would love to be a part of a local anime magazine and so I put up this blogzine to try to hone any writing skill I have. Also, the Pinoy anime community is in much need of help right now and so this is but a small contribution from me. Thank you for the support so far!
