Anime Idol: Week 4
12 hopefuls. But only 1 room for a winner.
This is the fourth week of Anime Idol!
After a considerable number of anime characters, we’ve come down to twelve hopefuls to vie for prestige of becoming the first Anime Idol.
Each week, they will be put through a test to determine which should be properly idolized by the growing otaku community. Those who are not able to get enough merit would not move on and would be eliminated.
In a rather unfortunate circumstance, the gentle samurai Kenshin Himura left the competition last week. But enough lamenting, the question remains: Who goes this week?
But first, a hint of the character attitude we’re looking for for Week 4:
Every day do something that will inch you closer to a better tomorrow.
~ Doug Firebaugh
Have you guessed the attitude we’re looking for this week?
Success is sweetest after a bit of hardship. Or a lot of it. Hardwork stems from the yearning to accomplish something and is fueled by an unyielding responsible attitude.
Everything is taken as a challenge and a determination to finish the race never wavers. Knowing that a lot can be learned in the uphill climb is what matters most.
Hardwork takes a lot of strength—whatever the aspect of it. Therefore, a strong mind and heart is more than necessary.
This week, who takes the downhill slide for lack of enough hardwork?
Like last week, this was not an easy elimination. All of these hopefuls are more than ready to pull some muscles and give all their heart. But only one of them seems to bring in more damage than help when pushing himself hard to do a task. His alias and the bounty on his head proves this. Does $$60,000,000,000 ring a bell?
Vash the Stampede is not what he seems to be. Looking goofy and acting like a complete fool, no one would ever think that he had made the biggest damage in history.
And it seems that Vash is one big, black cat that brings bad luck to whoever he gets into contact with. So despite his efforts to make humankind’s new planet a better place full of love and peace, they are to no avail. Maybe its best for him to just be left alone somewhere with boxes and boxes of doughnuts in tow.
Week 4 of Anime Idol bids farewell to Vash the Stampede. Hope he doesn’t cause any damage on his way…
Only 08 hopefuls stay as we near half of the competition.
Who would go through the next level? Hold on for Week 5!
Here’s a clue for Week 5:
What is uttered from the heart alone will win the hearts of others to your own.
~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
