Anime Idol: Week 8
12 hopefuls. Only 5 left.
This is the eighth week of Anime Idol!
After a considerable number of anime characters, we’ve come down to twelve hopefuls to vie for the prestige of becoming the first Anime Idol.
Each week, they will be put through a test to determine which should be properly idolized by the growing otaku community. Those who are not able to get enough merit would not move on and would be eliminated.
Ichigo was asked to leave the competition last week and he obliged. Now, who gets the boot out this week?
But first, here’s the hint of the character attitude we’re looking for:
The key to change…is to let go of fear.
~ Rosanne Cash
Have you guessed the attitude we’re looking for Week 8?
Courage and Determination
A small drop of courage can go a long way. The willpower to face anything is proof of unyielding strength of spirit.
And it is in the tightest of situation that, for some amazing reasons, courage pushes its way out. A rush in the gut gives a person a sound mind that quickly influences all other areas of the body.
Courage and determination working side by side is the only way to go through the thickest of obstacles.
So who bids farewell for a small lack of courage?
Although all of these Anime Idol hopefuls have gone through and survived the toughest battles, one of them may need to try practicing how to muster some courage faster.
Is being a girl something to be blamed for Usagi Tsukino? The Sailorsoldier may need to stop acting like a crybaby most of the time and mature for everyone else sake.
Perhaps she just needs more inspiration from her more-mature-acting fellow Sailorscouts—or a slap in the face and a little hair pulling from Sailormars.
Whatever it may be, Usagi must understand that the more she acts goofily in front of the enemy, more damages are actually brought down on her surrounding and more people become unwilling victims.
So it is with regret that we must bid farewell to the last of two ladies in our lineup of Anime Idol hopefuls. animeHOLIC wishes for Usagi Tsukino to fully mature into a full moon to illuminate the world she has grown to and will always love.
Now only four Anime Idol hopefuls stand…
Who will go next week? And who will stay to claim the title.
Here is Week 9’s clue:
Our strength grows out of our weaknesses
